Baylight Homeopathy
Baylight Curriculum Outline

Baylight is a Luminos Associated School of Homeopathy

The curriculum is a dynamic process of interaction between student, faculty and guest lecturers. The goal is to foster the development of a confident and excellent practitioner of homeopathy. This involves learning new materials and paradigms including the language of homeopathy. Most importantly, the student will be able to apply this knowledge effectively and with enthusiasm.

Year 1- Basics of Homeopathy In First Aid and Acute Care

This year introduces the basics of homeopathic history, philosophy and application.

Using the principles of homeopathy, we will explore the nature of disease and restoration of health, comparing this with conventional medical practices.

Students will begin to work with the practical application of homeopathy by observing some exciting cured cases.

Most of the first aid remedies and some acute and chronic remedies are covered so that the student becomes conversant with over 30 homeopathic remedies.

Completion of the first year will give you a foundational knowledge of homeopathy and the tools to apply remedies in First Aid situations. Each participant receives a Certificate of Completion.

This is a stand alone course and is also the first year of the 4 year Practitioner Course. Classes meet one Friday per month for 10 sessions.

If you are interested in registering for the one year course, please complete the registration form and mail the $25.00 registration fee.

Year 2 – Homeopathic Methodology

This year deepens your studies with a more rigorous emphasis on the treatment and understanding of complex and chronic conditions. This includes broadening the practical philosophy behind homeopathy through study of “The Organon”, the major source of homeopathic understanding, as well as expanding knowledge of chronic homeopathic remedies. Using a unique method of teaching and studying that emphasizes the grouping and sources of remedies, a broad spectrum of homeopathic remedies are covered.

Exposure to clinical practice through the observation of live cases offers a valuable experiential model for case-taking and analysis and  discussion of various clinical approaches.

We will conduct a remedy proving and learn about homeopathic pharmacology through the preparation of a remedy.

Year 3- Strengthening your Clinical Abilities

The Primary focus this year is advanced case taking, analysis, evaluation, and follow up.  By integrating traditional and new homeopathic approaches we continue with the historical and philosophical component of the program, delving into the vast perspectives of the Masters. In this year we begin the study of human sciences with anatomy and physiology.

The evolution of spirituality and its relationship to the homeopathic model is explored as well as  comparison of many alternative healing modalities.

Year 4- Professional Practice and Mentoring

We prepare you for the establishment of your own practice. Through continued exposure to live cases and cures you will be able to discern how to consistently apply homeopathy with great results. There is a continuation of the the study of clinical medicine and pathology, with particular emphasis on the energetic component of disease. Techniques for establishing and managing a successful practice will be covered, as well as creating relationships with other skilled practitioners for personal mentoring and supervision. A final project of the student’s discretion will complete the requirements for the Practitioner Certificate.

If you are interested in registering for the four year program, please complete the registration form and mail the $75.00 registration fee.
